What is Jailbreak?

Simply, unauthorized does not mean that such apps can not run on your device. They can run, but they are not from the approved apple source. They are from a third party for which apple does not allow user for security and privacy reasons.

By doing jailbreak, the warranty which is available to the consumer will be void and user can not claim for anything after jailbreak.

There are two types of apps available in apple store. Paid or free. You can use free apps easily by installing them. There might be, in fact surely, some apps which restricts the user to have a limited access over them like demo versions, limited access to levels, limited features or downloading, etc. By downloading the paid version for the same app from apple store, you can have full access to that app. Now the question is that what is the role of jailbreak here? There are almost all versions of all paid apps available for free by doing jailbreak your iDevice. iPhone4S UnTethered Jailbreak On iOS6.0&6.1 By Evasi0n-Win

It took the longest time to introduce the jailbreak for iOS6.0 and 6.1. For iPhone4S that are running the earlier described operating system of Apple Company. The users have been waiting for several months to enjoy their devices with Jailbreak facility. The following steps are to liberate iPhone4S from the restrictions of the manufacturer.

1^ST Step

At first the users need to be sure that their iPhones are on iOS6.0 or 6.1. After that you should create a backup to avoid any possible loss of data. Now download the required firmware from the link below.

Apple TV Jailbreak by Using Patchstick

A huge collection of movies, TV shows, games and music are now can be watched with this device. To get your Apple TV Jailbreak the following instructions have to be followed accordingly. You also need a USB to make it happen.

1^ST Step

To start this activity creates a folder on the Desktop with the name of Patchstick. Then by the following link download atv-win.

Save it in the folder you just have created.

2^ND Step

Make a double click to open atv-win-3.0. zip file and put the atv-win executable into that folder.

3^RD Step

Make a double click on atv-win-3.0.exe to launch this application.

4^TH Step

Select the latest version of firmware OS 3.0.1 and select SSH from the check boxes below. Click on Create Patchstick button to carry on with the process.

5^TH Step

Now you will be asked to save an image file to a location. Save it in the folder you have created in the first step and give it name atv-pachstick.img.

6^Th Step

The newest Apple TV firmware will be downloaded by atv-win to build the image file.

7^Th Step

You will be informed that patchstick image has been created successfully. Click on the OK button to continue with it.

8^TH Step

Click on Yes button when will be asked “would you like to run USB Image Tool now?”

9^TH Step

Select you USB device from the left and click on ‘Restore’ button at the bottom.

10^TH Step

Select atv-Patchstick.img file you have created from Patchstick folder.

11^TH Step

Click on ‘Yes’ button when asked “do you want to restore image”. This action would remove all other data present on the USB.

12^TH Step

USB Image Tool would now create your patchstick using the image file generated earlier.

13^TH Step

When the restore process gets complete disconnects the USB and connects it with Apple TV.

14^TH Step

After connecting USB to the Apple TV holds down Menu and – buttons on the remote until it starts to reboot.

15^TH Step

Patchstick would now perform its job and install SSH on your Apple TV.

16^TH Step

When it gets complete remove the USB and unplugs the device. Plug it in again to reboot.

17^TH Step

Now you can enjoy your Apple TV more than before. Via SSH access your Apple TV to perform functions and hacks. The username for the Apple TV is now frontrow and password is also frontrow.

Apple TV 2G Jailbreak On 5.0 Firmware By Using Seas0nPass

To watch the entertainment on a wide high definition TV Screen Apple Company has introduced its TV device in 2007 and then 2^nd generation Apple TV of comparatively small size at quite economical rate became available for the customers in 2010. To jailbreak it the following steps need to be followed. It is a tethered Jailbreak process.

1^ST Step

To start it you have to download the most updated version of Seas0npass from the following link.

2^ND Step

Unzip the archive and launch it with a double click.

3^RD Step

Click on ‘Create IPSW’ option present on the screen.

4^TH Step

Latest Apple TV firmware file would then start to be downloaded.

5^TH Step

A custom IPSW file thus will be created.

6^TH Step

When custom IPSW file is created you are asked to connect Apple TV2G to the computer with a micro USB cable. With the remote you have to shift Apple TV2G to DFU mode and for this you need to keep press two buttons of MENU and PLAY/PAUSE at the same time for 10 seconds. It is possible that Apple TV may take few tries to get into DFU mode so keep trying.

7^TH Step

After getting in to DFU mode some files will get uploaded by Seas0nPass and also launch iTunes automatically then finally restoring to the new firmware.
